Graphics are not everything in a game, i would rather play a game with crappy graphics and extravagant game play than a game with crappy game play and great graphics. Guilds are large clans or communities where lots of players can join to help each other out and do quests, and fight together. When in a guild you will notice you are getting familiar with allot of members, therefor when you group with each other you know how each other plays. So you can do things easy, but when you group with regular players not in your guild you are uncertain of how they play, and do not know what to expect therefor you would prefer to group with guild members.

When you trade or sell items in Maple Story you will notice that high trades or sells can cause you to have to pay a tax. When you get taxed it takes out a certain percentage out of the transaction completed, so you may wonder why did i not get my whole amount back. For example, you trade 100 mesos and you get back 99 that means you got taxed 1% out of 100%.

Players will notice there are certain stats that you have upon opening your character screen in game. These stats effect a characters abilities to maneuver throughout the world of maple story, as well as measuring coordination and character reflexes. Higher stats of course means being able to withstand the punishment of getting hit or attacked by creatures.
