Ragnarok Online has been releasing worldwide starting in 2002 clear up to 2007. Ragnarok has many quests that you can do, you are free to do pretty much anything you want in the world. Enjoy straight out fighting monsters and creatures non stop for experience and loot. Or quest your butt off and learn more of the game of which you are going to be playing. You earn experience by both doing quests and killing monsters around a relevant level to you.

There are 2 types of levels you can grow and make better, you have your character level and your job or profession level. Character level represents how strong you are, as well as your stats, how much health you have and various attributes that make your character who he is. The second is your Job or Profession level, you gain these skills up by perfecting what job or profession that you have trained since the beginning. It is easy at first to gain the levels that you need, but after you start progressing and fighting harder creators, as well as skilling and gathering harder items you will notice it takes alot more experience to gain your levels in your relevant category or class/skills.

The Jobs that you can be, i will list my knowledge of them below, not that jobs branch off as you progress in experience, levels and skills.

Swordman branches to Knights and crusaders. Knights can then be Lord Knights and then on to Rune Knight. Crusaders can be paladins and then on to Royal Guard.

Thief branches to Assassin's and Rogues. Assassins can be Assassin Cross's and then on to Guillotine Cross's. Rogues can be stalkers and then on to Dark Chaser's.

Merchants Branch off into Blacksmiths and Alchemist's. Blacksmiths can then be Master Smiths which then can progress on to Mechanics. Alchemists can be Biochemists which then can progress to Generics.

Mages can branch off into Wizard's and Sages. Wizards branch off to High Wizards who than can turn into Warlocks. Sages branch off into Scholar's who then can be Sorcerer's.
